Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second step to logging in, so your account stays protected even if your password is ever compromised.
Turning on 2FA
Step 1: Go to Security
Sign in to panel.techinhost.com and click Security from the menu.
Step 2: Start setup
Follow the on-screen steps to scan the QR code with an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Authy) and confirm the 6-digit code it generates.
Step 3: Save your recovery information
Keep any backup codes shown somewhere safe — they let you back into your account if you ever lose access to your authenticator app.
Logging in with 2FA enabled
After entering your password, you'll be asked for the current code from your authenticator app before you're signed in.
Turning off 2FA
If you need to disable it, go back to Security and follow the option to turn two-factor authentication off.
