Why an affiliate commission may be reversed or held for review

Most commissions go from pending to approved without any action. Sometimes a commission is reversed, adjusted or held for a closer look. These are the common reasons.

Reversed

• The customer's order or invoice was cancelled.
• The customer was refunded. If only part of an order is refunded, the commission is reviewed.

Not credited

• Orders you place yourself.
• Customers who already had a TechInHost account before they clicked your link.
• Orders where a different affiliate's link was clicked more recently.

Held for review

Some commissions are checked by our team before they are approved. This is a normal part of running the program, and a review does not mean you did anything wrong. We may approve, adjust or reverse the commission once we have looked at it.
