Addon Domains, Subdomains and the DNS Zone Editor
A single cPanel hosting account can host more than one website, and manage DNS records for domains pointed at it.
Adding an addon domain
An addon domain lets you host a completely separate website on the same hosting account. Open Addon Domains under the Domains section, enter the new domain name, and cPanel creates a matching folder for it inside public_html automatically.
Creating a subdomain
A subdomain (like blog.yourdomain.com) is part of your main domain rather than a separate site. Open Subdomains, type the subdomain name, and choose which folder it should point to.
Editing DNS records
Open Zone Editor to add or edit DNS records for your domain, such as A records, CNAME records or MX records for email. Changes can take a few hours to fully propagate.
Setting up a redirect
Open Redirects to forward one URL or domain to another — useful when moving a site or consolidating multiple domains.
