Selecting Your PHP Version and Extensions
On this page
cPanel lets you choose which PHP version your website runs on, and enable the extensions it needs.
Changing your PHP version
Step 1: Open MultiPHP Manager
Log into cPanel and open MultiPHP Manager under the Software section.
Step 2: Select your domain and version
Select the domain you want to change, pick the PHP version from the dropdown, and click Apply.
Enabling PHP extensions
Step 1: Open MultiPHP INI Editor
Open MultiPHP INI Editor from the same Software section.
Step 2: Select your domain
Choose your domain, then switch to the Editor Mode tab to enable or disable individual PHP extensions, or adjust settings like memory_limit and upload_max_filesize.
If you're not sure which PHP version your application needs, check its documentation — most modern applications like WordPress recommend the latest stable PHP version.
